"There are those who will journey to the Land of the Dead for the sake of the one they love best"
Katy binds together familiar and little known Arthurian legend into a gripping tale of love and loss, treachery and madness and a journey to the world below.
Part I: the Making of the Man weaves together legends from the Celtic and Continental tradtions to conjure a tale of Lancelot's coming of age. The way the show is put together provokes intriguing questions about how myth is made.
Part II: the Bridge of the Sword: an extraordinary adventure of Lancelot in his prime.
Each part is 50-60 minutes long. They can be told separately or together. Not suitable for under 12s.
Katy has performed this show in various incarnations at storytelling clubs across the UK, international festivals in Sweden and Austria and at the Barbican Pit Theatre.
